28 July 2017 - Last week (the week of July 17) USAID SHIFT trained 25 provincial health, laboratory, and HIV testing and counseling service leaders on strategies, techniques and tools to manage and assure the quality and efficiency of HIV testing and counseling (HTC) services, sites. The trainees will be responsible for assuring the availability and accuracy of HIV testing and counseling for more than a quarter of a million people in the next year, in Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An, Can Tho, An Giang and Kien Giang provinces. USAID SHIFT staff coached these provincial leaders on how to generate, manage, and use HTC service data to monitor and improve the quality of services while containing costs, skills which are vital to help sustain the delivery of quality HTC services in Vietnam in the context of transition.
